How will you describe the pattern of style, fad and fashion life cycles?
    • The pattern of style, fad, and fashion life cycles can be described as cyclical and ever-changing. Typically, a new style or fashion trend emerges, often influenced by various factors such as cultural, social, economic, or technological advancements. These trends are usually adopted by a particular group of people, such as celebrities, influencers, or fashion-forward individuals, and gradually gain popularity. This initial phase is known as the "innovation" stage. As a trend gains popularity, it reaches a critical mass and becomes more mainstream. It starts to be embraced by a larger audience, and retailers and brands begin to incorporate it into their products. This stage is called the "mass acceptance" phase, where the trend becomes widely recognized and accessible. After reaching the peak of popularity, the trend starts to decline, giving way to a new emerging style or fashion movement. This stage is known as the "saturation" phase, where the trend becomes overexposed and loses its novelty. People start seeking something new and different, resulting in a decline in demand for the previous trend. Following the saturation phase, the trend enters a phase of decline and becomes outdated. This decline is often marked by a decrease in sales and interest. At this point, the trend is considered to be in the "rejection" phase. However, fashion trends have a tendency to resurface and repeat themselves after a certain period of time. This cycle is usually influenced by nostalgia or the reinvention of past trends. Trends may also evolve and combine with other influences, resulting in the birth of new styles or fads. Overall, the pattern of style, fad, and fashion life cycles is characterized by a constant rotation of trends, with each having its moment of popularity and eventually fading away to make room for new and emerging styles.

What is style, fashion and fad lifecycle?
      • Style, fashion and fad lifecycle refer to the stages of a trend over time, from its emergence to its eventual disappearance. The lifecycle of a particular trend typically begins with an initial surge in popularity, followed by a gradual decrease in popularity until it eventually tapers off and disappears. The cycle is made up of five stages, namely, emergence, growth, maturity, decline and extinction. In each stage, the trend may evolve, take on new forms or die out completely. Fads, however, tend to have a much shorter lifecycle, dying out soon after they emerge.

What is style fashion and fad in marketing?
            • Style, fashion, and fad are three interrelated terms used in marketing to describe the trends, looks, and behaviors that commercial entities aim to promote. Style refers to the overall aesthetic look and feel, which can be determined by a variety of elements, such as colour, shape, cut, fabric, and silhouette. Fashion is a more specific term and refers to the constantly changing trends that influence what is considered “stylish” at any given time. Finally, a fad is a short-lived trend that manages to capture the public’s interest before eventually dying down. Understanding the differences between these three terms can help marketers plan effective campaigns that capitalize on current trends.
