Personalize the Excite Home Page
Most portals let you create a separate "My" page, which you can personalize as you wish. Excite does it a little differently, letting you customize the actual Excite home page, which then becomes your My Excite page. Thereafter, whenever you go to www.excite.com it displays your personalized page.
Personalizing the Excite home page is as easy as clicking the Page Settings, Select Content, Layout, Colors, and Themes buttons. Make your selections and you turn the regular Excite home page into your own personal My Excite page—like the one shown in Figure 4-6.
