This TV commercial laid emphasis on oral health. Dabur Lal Dant Manjan was positioned as a complete oral care product within the affordability of the great Indian middle class.
Bajaj Scooters
‘Buland Bharat ki buland tasveer, Hamara Bajaj’ with this tag line bajaj positioned its scooters as a synonym for the nation’s growth story and how owning a Bajaj was a matter of great pride. After all, in late 1980’s there was a waiting period of 10 years for Bajaj’s Chetak scooters.
Liril
Undoubtedly, this TVC can be termed as the hottest add of 1980’s. Karen Lunel, the Liril girl then wore a
green bikini to symbolize freshness, and women liberation. Who can forget the ‘Laa La La Laaaa’ jingle.
